New York, NY – The wrestling team hosted a tri-match on Saturday afternoon with institutions Williams College and Western New England both competing. The Hawks were unable to come away with a victory on the mat, falling to Williams, 40-18 and WNEC, 46-10.

The Purple and Gold grabbed three victories over the Ephs.
Paul Wehr, wrestling at 125 pounds, won against David Yeh in a fall at 32 seconds. Shabab Kahn won by way of a forfeit at 157 points, and then
Jacob Radboy earned a heavyweight victory over Dylan Millson with a fall at 4:28.

The Hawks were able to snag just two weight classes against the Golden Bears; 133 pounds and 285 pounds.
Andrew Cota earned a major decision over his opponent, Nick Calderone, 16-7 at the 133 pound weight class. Meanwhile, Radboy took the heavyweight class over Ben Falivene in a fall at 1:03.
The Purple and Gold return to action on Saturday, February 1 when they head to Hackettstown, NJ to take on Centenary University.
