Bronx, NY - For the seventh straight season, the Hunter College women's cross country team won the CUNYAC Women's Cross Country Championship. Additionally, the Hawks had the individual race winner in
Annabel Gregg; their first such winner since 2017. Hunter won both men's and women's races on the day, the first time both teams have won the championship in the same season since 2011.
The Hawks delivered a 1-2 punch with
Annabel Gregg claiming the individual title by over 1:20; the first such title since 2017. For her efforts, she was named the championship's Most Valuable Runner.
Taylor McClay was the runner up and contributed to Hunter having their top-four runners finish inside the top-10 spots. Rounding out the scoring five was
Leah Guan in 15
th place.
Overall, the Hawks finished with a team score of 33; a 17-point margin from second place CCNY with 33 points.
