FLUSHING, N.Y.- The City University of New York Athletic Confernce (CUNYAC) announced its weekly award winners for women's cross country, with Maria Gonzalez of Hunter College earning her first career award.

Gonzalez medaled at the Queensborough Invitational this weekend, placing 17th overall with a time of 23:42 in the women's 5k race.

The Hawks return to the course on Oct. 11 at the NJIT Highlander Invitational in Newark, N.J.
