Williamstown, MA - The Hunter wrestling team competed in at tri-meet today against Bridgewater State and Williams College. They began the day against Bridgewater and were able to win in three weight classes en route to a 42-18 loss. They then took on the hosts, Williams College and were defeated by a score of 54-3.

Edward Rojas, Jahongir Davronov and Jacob Raboy were the lone winners against Bridgewater State. Rojas won by pinning his opponent at 133 pounds while Davronov accomplished the same at 149. Raboy, at 285, also pinned his Bridgewater opponent for the Hawk's final points. The Hawks did not have much luck against Williams with Raboy securing his second victory via pin, which wound up being the team's only win.

The Purple and Gold are back on the mat on Saturday, January 22nd when they travel to Hackettstown, NJ to take on the Cyclones of Centenary College at 2pm.
