New York, NY – The men's indoor track and field team resumed the season with their first meet of 2022 with the Ramapo Invite on Friday evening at the New Balance Armory Track and Field Center. The contingent collectively earned four top-20 finishes.
 
Matthew Lau posted the highest finish for the Hawks after placing eighth in the 60m hurdles with a time of 9.83. He also finished 27^th in the long jump. Elias Garcia had an exceptional day, finishing 10^th in the unseeded 60m dash with a mark of 7.71 and then capping his day with a 30^th place showing in the 400m.
