New York, NY - The men's indoor track and field team placed third on Sunday at the CUNYAC Indoor Track and Field Championships. The harriers posted 75 total team points courtesy of strong performances including two individual event winners.
Matthew Lau had a big day; he was the event winner in the 60 hurdles, runner up in both the high jump and triple jump, third in the 60 dash and fourth in the long jump. His efforts on the day yielded 36 points toward the team scoring.
Robert Novo and
Brian Guillermo also had strong showings in both the 800m and mile. Guillermo was the event winner in the mile and placed third in the 800 while Novo finished second in both of those events. The duo also helped the 4x400 team to a 3rd place finish.
