NEW YORK, N.Y. – The Hunter College men's basketball team has unveiled its 2025–26 schedule, featuring a competitive non-conference slate, and a full City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) lineup.
The Hawks open the season on the road with back-to-back away contests, beginning Nov. 8 at Mount Saint Mary College in Newburgh, N.Y., followed by a Nov. 11 trip to Brooklyn to face Pratt Institute. Hunter will then take on DeSales University on Nov. 15 in Center Valley, Pa., completing a three-game road swing to start the year.
Hunter makes its home debut on Nov. 18, hosting Manhattanville University at 6 p.m. inside the Hunter Sportsplex. The Purple and Gold remain home for two additional non-conference matchups, taking on Maritime College on Nov. 20 and Penn State Berks on Nov. 22. The month concludes with a home contest against Old Westbury on Nov. 25 and a Nov. 29 home matchup against Mount Saint Vincent.
The Hawks open December at home against Baruch College on Dec. 5 for Homecoming, before hitting the road for two challenging non-conference tests against Merchant Marine on Dec. 9 and a trip uptown to face The City College of New York on Dec. 11.
Hunter closes the calendar year at the Moravian Tournament in Bethlehem, Pa., taking on Ursinus College on Dec. 29 before facing host Moravian University on Dec. 30.
Conference play resumes in January with an away matchup at John Jay on Jan. 7, followed by a home contest against York on Jan. 9. After hosting Brooklyn College on Jan. 14, the Hawks hit the road for Lehman on Jan. 16 and Medgar Evers on Jan. 21.
The Hawks return to the Sportsplex on Jan. 23 to host CCNY, then again on Jan. 30 for a rematch with John Jay. February begins with three straight road games at York (Feb. 3), Baruch (Feb. 5), and Brooklyn (Feb. 17), broken up by a Feb. 11 home matchup against Lehman.
Hunter will host Medgar Evers on Feb. 13 for Senior Day, marking the final home game of the regular season.
The postseason begins Feb. 21 with the CUNYAC First Round, followed by the semifinals on Feb. 24 and the CUNYAC Championship on Feb. 26. All tournament locations and times are to be announced by the conference.
