Hunter Competes at NJCU Tri-Meet

JERSEY CITY, N.J.- The Hunter College wrestling team continued its season this weekend at a tri-match against New Jersey City University and Centenary.

Marc Kleyman continued his strong start at 157 pounds, earning a 4–3 decision over Centenary's Colin Neal before securing an 8–0 major decision against NJCU's Jayson Candelario.

In exhibition action, Christopher Gliaos posted an 11–5 decision over NJCU's Andy Beras at 149 pounds. Alimkhan Guseinov added points for the Hawks with a forfeit win at 197 pounds, while Mumahadu Konteh picked up a forfeit victory at 125 pounds against Centenary.

Hunter returns to the mat on Nov. 16 for the Metro Duals, hosted by the United States Merchant Marine Academy, where the Hawks will also face New York University and the University of Southern Maine. Action begins at 12 p.m.
