GALLOWAY, N.J. — The Hunter College women's outdoor track and field team opened its 2025 season at the Stockton University Invitational on March 22, with multiple student-athletes finishing in the top 10 in their respective events.
Mikaelle Cesar led the Hawks on the track, finishing 17th in the 800 meters with a time of 2:40.80. Cesar also placed 13th in the 1500-meter race (5:35.82). Enalyse Pacheco made a strong collegiate debut in the javelin, throwing 101' 7" to finish eighth overall and first in the conference.
Tahlea Murray placed ninth in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 20.14. Murray later recorded a personal best in the 100-meter dash, finishing 15th (13.91). Rawnaa Elshita reached a new personal mark in the hammer throw with a distance of 20.40 meters, earning 15th place.
The Hawks return to action on Saturday, March 29, at the Big Heart Invitational hosted by St. John's University in Queens, N.Y.
