FLUSHING, N.Y. — The City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) announced its Women's Outdoor Track & Field weekly awards on Monday, with two Hunter College athletes honored for standout performances at the Wilton Wright Invitational, hosted by Southern Connecticut State University. Jamie Risso was named Field Athlete of the Week, while Shannon Ferri earned Honorable Mention.

Risso delivered a podium finish in the triple jump, reaching 10.83 meters to take third place. She added a seventh-place showing in the long jump with a leap of 5.29 meters.

Ferri clocked a time of 5:32.08 in the 1,500-meter run — the fastest in the CUNYAC this season — to secure fourth overall.

The Hawks return to competition on April 18–19 for the Paul Donohue Invitational at Widener University in Chester, Pa.
