CHESTER, Pa. — The Hunter College women's outdoor track and field team competed at the Paul Donahue Invitational, held Friday and Saturday at Widener University, with all Hunter performances taking place on April 18 — highlighted by a top-four finish in the triple jump and the team's fastest 5,000-meter time of the 2025 season.
Jamie Risso led the way in the field, placing fourth overall in the triple jump with a mark of 11.31m — her top mark of the season and the leading distance among all Hunter athletes in 2025. Teammate Tahlea Murray also landed in the Top 15, jumping 9.86m to place fourteenth.
Murray added a mark of 9.57m in the shot put to finish thirtieth, followed by Nia Novotny, who threw 7.48m — her top mark of the season.
On the track, Shannon Ferri posted the Hawks' best 5,000-meter time of the season at 20:05.26. Emma Kilroy also competed in the event, finishing with a time of 22:13.04. In the 1,500m race, Mikaelle Cesar crossed the tape in 5:32.88, the second-fastest time by a Hunter runner this year.
The Hawks return to action Saturday, May 3, for the CUNYAC Outdoor Championships at Icahn Stadium in New York City.
