Outdoor Track and Field Schedules Released

NEW YORK, N.Y.- The Hunter College men's and women's outdoor track and field teams have announced their 2026 competition schedule, featuring several regional meets leading up to the City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) Outdoor Track and Field Championships.

The Hawks will open the outdoor campaign on Saturday, March 21, competing at the Stockton Invitational in Stockton, N.J. The meet marks the first opportunity for Hunter athletes to transition from the indoor season to outdoor competition while facing a strong regional field.

Hunter returns to New York the following week for the Big Hurt Invitational on Friday, March 27, in Queens, N.Y. The meet traditionally draws participation from programs across the Northeast and provides another early-season opportunity for the Hawks to establish qualifying marks and personal-best performances.

The Hawks will then travel to Connecticut for back-to-back meets hosted in Hartford. Hunter first competes in the Rage in the Cage Invitational on Sunday, April 5, before returning the following weekend for the Wilton Wright Invitational on Saturday, April 11.

Hunter continues its late-season preparation on Friday, April 17, at the Paul Donohue Invitational in Chester, Pa., a meet that often serves as a final tune-up before championship competition.

The outdoor season will conclude on Saturday, May 2, when the Hawks compete in the CUNYAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships at Icahn Stadium, beginning at 9 a.m.
