FLUSHING, N.Y. - The City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) announced Alexa Charles of the Hunter College women's basketball team as the Player of the Week. This is the second time Alexa has won the award in January and her seventh overall. 

 
Charles put in a gritty performance in a tough loss against defending conference champion Brooklyn College, where she recorded 21 points, eight rebounds and eight steals. She then registered 30 points and 13 rebounds in a 78-74 win against Lehman. The senior averaged a double-double of 25.5 points, and 10.5 rebounds per game this week in addition to 4.5 steals.
