FLUSHING, N.Y.- The City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) has announced its first weekly award winners for the 2026 women's outdoor track and field season, with Taelyn Murray of Hunter College earning Field Athlete of the Week.

At the Stockton Invitational, Murray threw 36.41m in the discus and 10.06m in the shot put, both topping CUNYAC marks for the season to-date.  Additionally, she posted the second-best mark in the conference in the tiriple jump with a leap of 9.99m. The week prior at the Stonybrook Snowflake Classic, she placed second overall in the long jump (4.45m) and third in the shot put (9.40m).

The Hawks return to action on March 28 at the Big Hurt Invitational hosted by St. John's.
