Bronx, NY – Freshman
Max Segan (New York, NY/Hunter), who was named the CUNYAC Rookie of the Week on Monday, led his Hawks into battle on a cold spring afternoon and helped them come out with their fourth straight victory, defeating Lehman College 9-0 in a CUNYAC match at the APEX in the Bronx, NY.

Peter Stanciu (New York, NY/Locust Valley), took their first doubles match with ease, 8-0. Sophomore
Jayquan Gooding (Woodside, NY/Cardozo) and junior
Noel Marrero (Bronx, NY/Lehman) kept things going with an 8-2 win at second doubles, followed by sophomore
Ian Katz (Woodside, NY/American Studies) and freshman
Andres Gonzalez (Hastings, NY/Hastings) winning third doubles 8-1.
Segan then earend his fourth win of the season at first singles, 6-2, 6-2.
Stanciu, who has moved into the second singles spot nicely, won his match 6-1, 6-1.
Gooding made his singles return with a 6-1, 6-2 victory in the third spot.

Gian Arceo (Flushing, NY/Bayside) finished out the match with wins at fourth, fifth and sixth singles respectively.
This was the Hawks fourth straight 9-0 victory this season, improved to 4-0 and 2-0 in conference play. The Hawks will be back in action on Tuesday, when they head to Brooklyn, NY for another key conference match-up with Brooklyn College at 4:00 p.m.
