COLLEGEVILLE, PA - The Hunter wrestling team took part in the North/South Duals on Saturday going 1-2, losing to Springfield College and #9 Delaware Valley College. The Hawks defeated McDaniel College in the first round.The Hawks had three wrestlers come away with 3-0 records - Jesse Bader at 165lbs, Cary Palmer at 141lbs and Kenny Albert at 125lbs. In the final match of the day against nationally ranked Delaware Valley, Albert won his match against #6 wreslter, Connor Kirkegard."Kenny stepped up big-time today with his performance against Delaware Valley," said head coach Chris Mazzatta.The Hawks return to the mat Saturday January 18 when they will take part in the "Shorty Hitchcock Memorial Tournament."
