New York, NY - The top seeded Hunter men's tennis team will take on the #5 seeded Lightning of Lehman College on Wednesday, May 4 at 1:30 in the semi-final round of the HSS/CUNYAC Men's Tournament Championship. The match was originally scheduled for Sunday at Queens College but had to be postponed due to the rain. The match will now be played on the tennis courts at Lehman College.

The Hawks earned their #1 seed by virtue of a perfect 7-0 CUNYAC record and was awarded a first round bye. Lehman earned their spot in the semifinals by recently upsetting #4 Staten Island with a 5-2 win in the quarterfinals. The winner of Hunter/Lehman will advance to the Championship which is scheduled to be played on Thursday, May 5 at 3pm at the tennis courts on the campus of Staten Island. In the other semifinal match, #3 John Jay will be taking on second seeded Baruch with the winner advancing to the finals. The winner of the championship will earn an automatic berth to the NCAA Division III Championship Tournament.
