New York, NY - Hunter College men's tennis went 2-0 on Thursday, starting the day with 9-0 win over Lehman College before defeating New Rochelle 9-0.
The Hawks improved to 5-5 overall this season and 4-1 in conference play with the victory over the Lightning.
The Hawks started off by sweeping Lehman in doubles competition, led by the duo of Florimond Le Goupil Maier and
Joel Cantila at the no. 1 court. The team then won all six matches in singles competition to finish off Lehman with a score of 9-0.
The Purple and Gold continued their perfect day by not dropping a set against New Rochelle, shutting out the Blue Angels in singles and doubles play.
The team returns to action on April 19 when they travel to Brooklyn College for CUNYAC match.
