New York, NY - Hunter College men's tennis fell to Purchase College on Tuesday afternoon with a score of 6-3.
The Hawks are now 5-6 overall, but remain in control in CUNYAC play with a 4-1 record.
Joel Cantila and
David Joseph both earned wins in singles competition with Cantila defeating his opponent at the no. 2 spot with scores of 6-1 and 6-4. Joseph followed that up with a 6-4 and 6-2 victory at the no. 3 court.
The duo of
Filip Koritysskiy and Cantila earned the Hawks' one doubles win, taking down their opponents with a score of 8-3.
The Purple and Gold return to action on April 20 when they host Farmingdale State at 6 p.m.
