New York, NY - Hunter College men's tennis got a win over Farmingdale State on Thursday evening, taking down the team with a score of 5-4.
The Hawks are now 6-6 overall this season and 4-1 in conference play.
The Purple and Gold started the day with two wins in doubles competition as the duo of Florimond Le Goupil Maier and
Nasser Ghaffar got an 8-6 win at the no. 1 court.
Joel Cantila and
David Joseph got a win at no. 2 doubles, defeating their opponents with a score of 8-1.
In singles competition Maier, Cantila and Joseph each got wins to contribute to the Hawks' 5-4 victory.
The team returns to action on April 24 when they host Brooklyn College at 6 p.m.
