New London, Conn. - Hunter College men's tennis competed at the Connecticut College Invitational on Saturday, earning seven singles victories and three doubles wins on the day.
Joel Cantila led the Hawks by going 4-0, defeating his opponents from Colby-Sawyer and Roger Williams in singles competition at No. 4. Cantila and his partner
Ethan McAndrew went 2-0 later in the day against Coast Guard and Roger Williams at doubles No. 3.

Jose Agregado each won their first singles match before falling in the second. The Hawks finished up doubles competition with one more win as the duo of Maier and
Shamar Cole took down the team from Colby-Sawyer with a score of 8-5 at No. 2.
The Purple and Gold return to action on September 29 when they travel to USMMA for a 4 p.m. match.
