Kings Point, N.Y. - Hunter College men's tennis got a win on Tuesday evening against the United State Merchant Marine Academy, defeating the Mariners 8-1 at the Brooks Stadium Courts.

The Hawks swept doubles competition to start the day as the team of Nasser Ghaffar and Florimond Le Goupil Maier took down their opponents at No. 1 doubles with a score of 8-1.

In singles, Ghaffar earned a victory at the No. 1 court with scores of 6-2 and 6-2, while Joel Cantila, Shamar Cole, Sean Kemp and Filip Koritysskiy each tallied wins vs. their opponents.

With the victory, the Purple and Gold finish up the fall season and return to action in the spring.
