BOX SCORE New York, N.Y. - Hunter College men's volleyball started CUNYAC play with a win on Wednesday when they defeated Lehman College with a score of 9-0 at Alley Pond Tennis Center.

The Hawks started the day with three wins in doubles competition as Nasser Ghaffar and Florimond Le Goupil Maier led the way with a win at the no. 1 spot, taking down the Lightning with a score of 8-6. Sean Kemp and Jose Agregado won at the no. 2 court 8-6, while Omer Khalifa and Filip Koritysskiy got a victory at no. 3 with a final score of 8-1.

The Purple and Gold swept singles as Ghaffar, Kemp and Maier won the top three spots.

The team returns to action on Monday when they host the College of Staten Island before traveling to Ramapo College.
