BOX SCORE New York, N.Y. - Hunter College men's tennis dropped its first CUNYAC match of the season on Friday afternoon, falling to Baruch College with a score of 5-4.
The Hawks fell behind in doubles as no. 1 and no. 3 dropped their matches to the Bearcats.
Sean Kemp and
Joel Cantila took the no. 2 spot, defeating their opponents 8-6.
Three Hawks got wins in singles, led by Florimond Le Goupil Maier's victory at the no. 3 spot (6-4, 6-3).
Omer Khalifa and
Filip Koritysskiy earned wins for the Hawks at no. 5 and no. 6, respectively, but the effort was not enough as the Hawks fell to Baruch, 5-4.
The Purple and Gold return to action on April 25 when they travel to Drew University for their last regular season match of the season.
