BOX SCORE Edgewater, N.J.- Hunter College men's tennis dropped their first match of the season to Yeshiva  University on Sunday afternoon with a score of 8-1.
 
The Hawks dropped to 0-1 this season with the loss, while the Maccabees have improved to 2-2.
 
Hunter managed a victory in #3 Doubles as Christopher Popovic and Kyle Burrus won by a score of 8-5. Making the score 2-1 in favor of the opposition going into singles play.
 
The Hawks were swept in singles play though, failing to hold serve against the tough competition.
 
Hunter has a lengthy break before returning to action on March 18^th to take on Purchase College at 3 p.m. in a road matchup.
