New York, NY - The men's tennis team earned the #3 seed in the CUNYAC Tennis Championship Tournament. They will begin play on Sunday, May 1 at the USTA National Tennis Center.

The Hawks finished the regular season with a record of 4-5 overall and 1-2 in conference play. They will take on the #2 seeded Brooklyn Bulldogs who went 5-3, 2-1 CUNYAC. In the other semi-final, top seeded Baruch (8-3, 3-0 CUNYAC) squares off against #4 Lehman (2-6, 0-3). The winners will face each other in the championship round on Thursday, May 5. Each of the two semi-final matches will be played at the USTA National Tennis Center on Sunday, May 1 with starting times of 1pm.

To date, the men's tennis program has eight CUNYAC titles to their name. Most recently, they won in 2010, 2011, 2015 and 2016. Since 2008 the Hawks have made 10 finals appearances, winning four of them and facing Baruch in all but one (defeated the College of Staten Island in 2010).
