BOX SCORE Patchogue, N.Y.- The Hunter College men's tennis team dropped a tough 5-4 decision at St. Joseph's Long Island on Tuesday afternoon on the road.
With their top player out, the Hawks (2-6) stepped up to the challenge with everyone moving up a spot and battling until the end. Despite the loss the Hawks' resilience was on full display.

Sandro Schwyzer teamed up to take second doubles to get the first points on the board for the Hawks, each also won their singles matches at no. 4 and no. 5 respectively. At no. 3 singles,
Ali Elshehawey also was victorious but the team was unable to overcome the Golden Eagles (2-7).
Hunter returns to the court in their final regular season conference match against John Jay on Wednesday afternoon. First serve is slated for 12:00 p.m.
