Hunter Women’s Fencing Unveils 2025–26 Schedule

NEW YORK, N.Y.- The Hunter College women's fencing team has announced its 2025–26 schedule, featuring a slate of regional invitationals and championship meets across the region.

The Hawks open the campaign on October 25 at the Nikki Franke Invitational at Temple University, marking the first of several early-season events against top regional programs. Hunter continues its fall stretch at the Vassar Invitational on November 9 and the Matt Lampell Open on November 16, both hosted in Poughkeepsie, N.Y.

Hunter will host its only home meet of the year on December 5, part of Hunter's Homecoming celebration, against CCNY 7 p.m. The Hawks then close out the semester on the road at the FDU Invitational on December 7 in Teaneck, N.J.

Competition resumes in the new year with trips to the Army Invitational on January 25 in West Point, followed by the Eric Sollee Invitational on January 31 in Cambridge, Mass. The Hawks will round out February with three major tournaments: the EWFC Championship on February 15 in Madison, N.J., the LIU Invitational on February 22 in Brooklyn, and the NIWFA Championship on February 28, also in Madison.

Hunter concludes the season at the NCAA Regionals on March 8 in hosted by NYU, where fencers will look to qualify for national competition.
