FLUSHING, N.Y.- The City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) announced its weekly award winners for men's tennis on Monday afternoon with William Zimmerman of Hunter College earning his first career nod as Rookie of the Week.

 Zimmerman helped the Hawks to a 2-0 week in conference play, with shut outs over York and Lehman. Against York, Zimmerman teamed up with Krishna Arya in no. 3 doubles for a dominant 8-0 win. Against Lehman, he won no. 5 singles in straight sets (7-5, 6-0).

The Purple and Gold returns to the court tomorrow, April 22, as they continue conference play at John Jay College. First serve is slated for 6:30 p.m.
