Hunter continued to battle in singles play but could not claim a set. Martin Torterolo forced a third-set super tiebreaker at the bottom of the lineup, ultimately falling 6-2, 0-6, 10-4.

The Hawks look to turn things around on Wednesday, when they face Brooklyn College at 3 p.m. at the USTA National Tennis Center in a Senior Day matchup.
