Men's Tennis Announces 2026 Schedule

NEW YORK, N.Y.-  The Hunter College men's tennis program has announced its 2026 schedule, featuring a competitive mix of conference and nonconference matches throughout the spring as the Hawks aim to position themselves for another run in the City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) Championship.

Hunter opens the season on Saturday, March 14, hosting Thomas College at 12 p.m. at the USTA National Tennis Center in Flushing, N.Y. The Hawks remain at the same venue the following week, welcoming John Jay on Saturday, March 21, also at noon.

The first road match of the season comes on Thursday, March 26, when Hunter travels to Purchase College for a 3 p.m. start. The Hawks continue their early road stretch with a visit to USMMA  in Kings Point, N.Y., on Sunday, March 29, at 1 p.m.

Hunter returns to conference play on Wednesday, April 1, hosting Lehman College at 3 p.m. at the APEX Tennis Courts at Lehman College. The Hawks then head back on the road to face Sarah Lawrence College on Saturday, April 4.

The team returns to Queens on Tuesday, April 7, hosting York College at 1 p.m. at the York College Tennis Courts. The following day, Hunter travels to Patchogue, N.Y., to face St. Joseph's University Long Island at 3 p.m.

Hunter hosts Baruch on Saturday, April 11, at noon at the USTA National Tennis Center, before entering a busy stretch of road matches. The Hawks travel to Farmingdale State on Wednesday, April 15, at 4:30 p.m., followed by a conference matchup at Brooklyn College on Friday, April 17, and a nonconference contest at Albertus Magnus College in New Haven, Conn., on Sunday, April 19.

The postseason begins later in April with the CUNYAC Men's Tennis Championships, held at the USTA National Tennis Center. The semifinals are scheduled for Sunday, April 26, at 1 p.m., with the championship match set for Thursday, April 30, at 3 p.m.
