FLUSHING, N.Y.- The City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) has announced its first weekly award winners for the 2026 men's outdoor track and field season, with Anthony Coccarelli of Hunter College earning Rookie of the Week.

Competing in his first career meet, two-sport athlete, Coccarelli threw 29.94m in the discus the furthest mark in the conference to-date in addition to a 8.47m mark  in the shot put.

The Hawks return to action on March 28 at the Big Hurt Invitational hosted by St. John's.
