Hunter College Athletics

One name that will forever be linked with the sport of wrestling at Hunter College is that of Bob Gaudenzi. A tough competitor for the Hawks as a student from 1972-76, he truly made his mark after returning to his alma mater as head coach in 1980. Currently the program’s all-time winningest coach, Gaudenzi has guided over ten wrestlers to All-American status and one to a Division III national championship.
