Hunter College Athletics

One of Hunter’s top female athletes in her era, Jean Hagan Mulvey was an all-around athlete, lettering four years in both basketball and softball. Blessed with great athletic ability, and recognized as a “pure shooter,” she averaged over 25 points per game playing small forward. She also pulled down ten rebounds per game over four years. Jean was described as “graceful and as tough as you can be” on the court.
